The Gosforth Retreat

This self contained set up is ideal for those working in the area or for singles or couples wanting an overnight stay for a reasonable price in Newcastle. Located just off the A1 to the north of the city, it is situated in a quiet residential family area and has ample free street parking nearby. Consisting a large double bedroom, a kitchenette with basic cooking facilities and a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. The space The bathroom, which is exclusively yours during your stay, has an easy to use shower with a power spray and constant hot water. The mattress is very comfortable and the sheets are always clean and fresh. The entire space is clean, clutter free and smells fresh. There are thick blackout curtains to ensure the light does not disturb your sleep. Guest access There is a lockbox at the front of the property so guests can access without needing to liaise with the host, although I'm generally on hand for anything you need. There is ample free street parking near the property, although we prefer guests to park to the side or rear of the property if possible. Other things to note We would like to be very honest to ensure that your stay is exactly as you expect it, so please note the following ahead of choosing to book: Our pictures are taken to portray an honest representation of the property. We as a family live above, occasionally you may hear us in our day to day lives because the sound proofing between floors is not as robust as it is between purpose built flats. Having said that, we always aim to be respectful and quiet and we aren't a noisy family generally. And we are often on hand if you have a query. If you come here without a car and expect to use public transport, this estate is a bit cut off and it will take 15-20 minutes to walk to the metro station or to Great North Road for excellent bus services. There is a No 46 bus which stops outside our property once per hour from early weekday mornings until early evenings, however it stops running at 7pm and there is no bus service on a Sunday. Local shops are also a bit of a walk if you don't have a car.
