Description
Cedar + Fern is your peaceful Port Hardy retreat, newly built with a touch of coastal-forest inspiration. Simple and cozy, the suite includes a queen bed, bathroom with shower, small sofa and TV, and a dining table. The kitchenette is compact but well-equipped for light meals with an air fryer, toaster oven, hot plate, mini fridge, kettle, and coffee press. Whether you’re here for work or adventure, it’s a clean and inviting place to call home between North Island experiences. The space Tucked inside our home, Cedar + Fern is a private main-floor guest suite with its own entrance and no shared spaces. You’ll have a fully self-contained space all to yourself; perfect for relaxing after a day on the trails or enjoying a quiet evening in. The suite has easy self check-in with a keypad, and you’ll have a comfy queen bed, private bathroom, kitchenette with essentials, WiFi, and smart TV. Plus, free parking is right at your door, and you’re just minutes from Port Hardy’s beaches, trails, and local eats! Guest access Guests have full private access to the suite, which has its own entrance and no shared spaces. Check-in is fully self-serve with a keypad for your convenience. Please note that the backyard is not part of the guest space, as it’s our dog Captain’s area to roam and feel secure. Thanks for understanding and helping keep his space peaceful. Other things to note As the suite is part of our home, you may hear the occasional sound from upstairs or a bark from our dog, Captain, though we do our best to keep things quiet and respect your space. The kitchenette is designed for light cooking with small appliances. Due to plumbing restrictions, the sink is located in the bathroom; it’s a large stainless steel basin that’s surprisingly practical and easy for dishes. There isn’t an outdoor seating area at the suite right now, but it’s on my list for the future when I’m able to expand. In the meantime, Port Hardy’s best patios are its beaches, trails, and viewpoints — all just minutes away. Our WiFi is usually on its best behaviour (fibre optic!), though like anywhere on the coast, it can have the odd day where it acts up. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H337850715
