Country charm at Riverbend

Riverbend is a picturesque setting among rolling hills, the Long Tom River and Coastal mountain backdrop. Stroll the river path, then chat with our friendly goats. Sip local wines on the deck and patio area as the sun sets. The house features an open living and dining area along with a fully equipped kitchen. Outside offers a completely fenced in yard, deck, patio and carport. Minutes away are the Eugene Airport, University of Oregon, local wineries, Fern Ridge Lake, hiking and the Oregon Coast. The space Riverbend is a single story house with a carport and spacious fenced-in yard. It has 3 bedrooms containing 1 king and 2 queen beds. Each bedroom has its own personality with views of the property, sitting space & reading material. Each bed has 100% cotton sheets, extra blankets & pillows. There is a room dedicated for a work space and has a futon if a fourth twin bed is needed. The main part of the house is a spacious open floor plan with a living/family room, sitting room & dining room. A large screen tv & dvd player can be viewed in the living/family room. A collection of dvds, playing cards, games & drawing supplies are provided for you to enjoy during your stay. The full kitchen includes a stove/oven, full fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, electric tea kettle & Keurig machine. A second workspace is included in the kitchen area. There is a laundry room with a washer & dryer. The en-suite bathroom includes 2 sinks, a tub & a walk-in shower. There is another full bathroom with a shower/tub. The spacious front yard includes a shaded bench for you to watch the goats or soak in the farm & mountain views. The front porch also has a bench to relax and a boot tray to place those muddy boots during the winter. The back yard includes a deck with a grill, seating & dining. A stoned patio below also has seating. Both areas have beautiful views to enjoy river & farm scenery-including goats & neighboring pigs. A large swing is at the bottom of the hill ( not just for kids). The Long Tom River borders the backyard fence. There is a gate leading to a short path along the river for you to enjoy. It does not have a fence on the river side. Our goats have their gated pasture to one side of the property. They are social and will talk with you, they are entertaining to watch and add a peacefulness as they graze the field. There is a separate gated yard on the other side of the property that dogs can run around. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, front & back yards. Another fenced side yard allows dogs to run around.There is also a short path along the Long Tom River. Other things to note We are between Eugene and the Oregon Coast, 20 minutes from Eugene Airport. If you are planning any activities with the University of Oregon, you can get to campus in approximately 30 minutes. Fern Ridge Lake is 7 miles away. Downtown Veneta is 7 minutes away. It has a handful of restaurants, food trucks, a couple of grocery stores & businesses featuring local artists. We have many wineries to visit in our area. The Coastal town of Florence is approximately 50 minutes away.
