In the winter, this cottage provides a cozy wood stove with gorgeous views of Lake Superior. The space The whole house is on one floor, with the exception of one tiny step from the dining area to the rest of the house. It has a full kitchen, if you need something specific…contact me. Ice will always be in the freezer, ketchup, mustard, eggs, maple syrup and butter. Of course the Hoito Finnish pancake mix will be in the refrigerator so you can make an awesome breakfast. If you have troubles…please text me. A good Finnish pancake is a must! Even though the water comes from a drilled well and is just fine, Sasi spring water is available on the counter. Take your pick, Tim Hortons coffee or Starbucks Pike Place for the drip coffee machine. There is also an assortment of Epicure teas! Enjoy! Use anything in the pantry beside the sink. Also, full bathroom with a tub including The Unscented Company shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Anything you find you can use! Two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a queen. Extra blankets are in the closet. It can get cold. There is a separate dining table room. It can get especially warm and includes a book shelf with all sorts of interesting books. Help yourself! It’s my favourite place. The wood stove is in the living room with a television and CD Player with tons of movies in the hallway closet! As well, there are tons of games in the hallway closet, including chess and backgammon and of course a cribbage board. There is a bbq with a multi-leveled deck where meals can be eaten in the summer and fall months. The huge waterfront includes a wood fired sauna with a change room and you can cool off with a dip in Lake Superior. The deck by the water front includes Muskoka chairs with an above ground fire bowl. There is a dock with ladder and of course one can enter the water via the rocky shore. There is parking comfortably for 2-3 cars. There is NO WIFI, however there is cell phone reception. In the Winter there is lots of SNOW! The space turns into a comfy cabin and the roads are cleared every day. If you want a sauna….contact me because snow has to be cleared and the traditional sauna has to be set up.
