Take it easy at our unique and tranquil getaway in the heart of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. 20 minutes from Universal Studios, Hollywood, Laurel Canyon and more. 30 minutes to the Santa Monica pier. We offer a detached private studio room, with its own full bathroom and a kitchenette. We keep honey bees and provide a sample of our honey. Come check us out! The space Quiet, comfortable, convenient. We have a good location which is both private and close to everything you would want to see in Los Angeles. Our bedding is super comfy, our shower head is generous, our kitchenette has everything you need to start your day: coffee maker and teapot (with an array of coffee and teas), mini-fridge, microwave, and vintage mini oven to warm muffins or make a grilled cheese. Our internet speed is robust, with no data caps. You can Zoom for business, stream movies and listen to music with no interruptions. Our entertainment center honors the classic rock and pop musicians of Laurel Canyon, with music from The Doors, Joni Mitchell, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, the Mamas and Papas, The Monkees and more. You are 5 miles away from where they created all that magic. We aim to provide an environmentally sustainable adventure. Solar panels provide your electricity. Our zeriscaping focuses on drought tolerant and native plants and succulents. We provide plant-based soaps and haircare products and recyclable bamboo kitchenware. We compost to feed our working vegetable garden and are happy to share harvests in season. Bedding is made from soft, sustainable bamboo. We offer a safe haven for endangered honey bees. You might enjoy your coffee sitting outside and watching the bees work their alchemy. Our girls are very docile, and they are much more interested in making honey than bothering you. However, if you are allergic, the Bee Garden NoHo might not be the right place for you. A reminder: we do not welcome pets. Guest access Guests enjoy the studio privately, the immediately attached room is used for storage and is locked off. Entry is through a locked gate at the head of the driveway. Street parking is usually available, and you can use the driveway to load and unload your bags. You may park in the driveway if you can’t find a spot on the street, but we will need to swap cars on occasion. We don’t mind if you don’t. 🐝 Registration number HSR23-003806

We are an artist couple from New York and Texas who fell in love with the high desert on a road trip back in 2005. We decided to purchase a little slice of heaven for ourselves, and are sharing with others who appreciate the unique beauty, solitude and spirituality of Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas. Our homestead cabin remodel was one big art project for us, which we continue to modify… and add to. Come see for yourself!
