Monte de Matacães - House of Olive Trees

Our accommodations are welcoming, able to provide for the well-being of our guests in the midst of nature with wonderful and venerable cork oak forests and pastures that invite you to take relaxing walks. Here our visitors can forget about their problems and regain their energy with the help of fresh air, silence and incredible light. And the evenings and nights! Nowhere else in the world does the sun set as brilliantly and theatrically as in the Alto Alentejo. The space Casa das Oliveiras faces the inner courtyard and the pool area. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people and, should the need arise, we have a sofa bed in the living room that can provide two additional sleeping places. The bedrooms are very cozy, with a double bed in one of the bedrooms and two single beds in the second bedroom. Numerous tasteful decorative elements create an extremely welcoming atmosphere, and the fireplace is an invitation to relax on colder days. The kitchen is very well equipped with a built-in hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, offering the best comfort for preparing meals. On request, we also offer our guests a healthy breakfast every morning, or we can bring your meals to you with local products that vary according to the time of year. Outside there is a swimming pool with a relaxation area and a large covered barbecue area for communal use. If our guests wish to wash their clothes, they can do so in our own laundry room, or you can ask one of our staff to do it for you. Guest access Casa das Oliveiras is rented on an exclusive basis and is completely at the disposal of our guests. Guests can take advantage of the communal outdoor spaces at Monte de Matacães, such as a swimming pool and barbecue area. Other things to note Monte de Matacães is a farm.
