Cozy log cabin with private hot tub & sauna

Arrive and unwind. The rustic wooden cabin in St. Englmar serves as the perfect starting point for attractive outdoor activities for the whole family. The cabin was planned over years of loving work and built using regional craftsmanship. These are “natural log houses” that have retained their natural shape during construction using regional trees to give it its very special charm. A truly sustainable project. The space The cabin is located at over 900m above sea level and is fully equipped. It provides a special cosiness, comfort and a feel-good atmosphere thanks to its alpine-style furnishings. The hut has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a large living/dining area with an open kitchen. On the spacious terrace and in our own garden you can relax wonderfully and enjoy the sun and natural scenery. The best way to relax is in front of the crackling fireplace or in the private wooden log sauna or our own BATH TUB (no whirlpool as stated!) This hot tub is fired with wood. This way you can end an eventful outdoor day with enjoyment. Guest access The state-recognized health resort of St. Englmar, located at over 800m above sea level, is located in the heart of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen. Surrounded by the five local mountains Hirschenstein, Predigstuhl, Knogl, Pröller and Hochberg, the idyllic mountain village of St. Englmar is a sporty area. In summer it's great to hike along the approximately 125 km long hiking trails. The sleigh- and leisure paradise with summer slide runs, roller coasters, flying fox, adventure golf, etc. ensures fun and action for all ages. The “Waldwipfelweg”, which leads along the treetops at a height of 30 meters, offers unique views. And winter is super nice too. The DSV Nordic Aktiv cross-country skiing center offers 74 km of certified cross-country ski trails for all levels of difficulty, the ski lifts of the Pfarrstuhl are just 900 meters from the cabin, or you can enjoy the glory of the Bavarian Forest on 50 km of cleared hiking trails. St. Englmar is not only a winter wonderland but above all a winter hiking place. Other things to note The cabin is perfect for 4 people. If the stay is planned for an additional 5th person, an additional mattress on the gallery in one of the two bedrooms can be used (addtl. fee applies). Addle. charges may apply. The gallery is secured with a railing and accessible via a ladder. Nevertheless, the use will be at your own risk. ⚠️ 🚭Our cabin is a non-smoking cabin. Smoking is not permitted. 🐕 Although we like pets, unfortunately they are not allowed in our cabin - we are allergy sufferers. 📺 📻 Of course there is a television and also a radio in our cabin. And it also has a fast internet connection. 🥶❄️☃️ Please understand that the outdoor hot tub cannot be used during the frosty months of November to February. ⚡️It would be damaged by the cold. ⚡️ The outdoor sauna is, of course, available. 😊 🧺 💦 👕 The property also offers a washing machine in the main house/reception of the property. (Entrance through back door) This can be operated via a coin-operated washing machine. You will need to bring your own detergent/fabric softener.
