You're less than a mile from downtown, very close to Memorial Hospital Central, and just 2 miles from Patty Jewett Golf Course. For ski lovers, nine ski areas are within a 3 hour drive—perfect for a day trip. With a memory foam Queen-size bed and sofa with a Queen-size trundle and memory foam topper, the bungalow comfortably sleeps 4. Yet the 670 sq ft of space is wonderfully private for couples or traveling professionals needing a quiet respite. The house was built in the 1920s, and you'll see original features as well as modern updates. We love hosting families and strive to make family-travel easier! We have several baby and toddler items available, but in storage. Please message to make sure we have everything you need out and ready for you. You will enter the home using convenient keyless entry through the door on the front porch. The door code is unique for you! Guest access You are renting the entire home for yourself. It is a small, stand-alone, single level house on it's own city lot. The hosts live 4 miles away and do not normally arrive, and definitely do not arrive unnannounced at the property while it's rented. Enjoy the privacy of the home with a fenced-in 10' x 35' side yard and patio. Self-Check-In: You will receive a message through the Airbnb app with your unique door PIN. For your safety, this PIN is assigned only to you for the duration of your stay. Simply come and go as you please. Parking: There is a single parking spot in the driveway. For a second vehicle, on-street parking is available and has no meters. Other things to note We have a no-pet and no-smoking policy to ensure a comfortable stay for guests with allergies. As a family with two sons with allergies, we know it is miserable to stay somewhere where pets or smoking are allowed. We want to create a safe, allergy-friendly space for everyone. Our house does not have pet-amenities or a large enough yard. If you are traveling with a pet, please - please just book an Airbnb who is prepared to welcome and accommodate your pet. Please be respectful of service animal protections. These laws exist to support those with legitimate needs, and misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is both illegal in Colorado and unfair to those who rely on them. Service animals differ from pets—they don’t climb on furniture, sleep in beds, or stay home alone. SAs are extremely well-behaved, and always working. Service animals are still required to be house-trained and under the handler’s control at all times. ESAs are not recognized under the ADA. If you bring a pet into the house, we will file a claim for additional cleaning and sanitization, and any animal-related damage. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside. You’re welcome to smoke outside, but please close the doors, and pick up any butts. If we find smoke damage/smell, cigarette butts, or marijuana paraphernalia, we’ll charge for the additional cleaning. Keep in mind that Colorado Springs often has fire restrictions, and smoking marijuana outside is not allowed. We are not a 420-friendly listing. The city’s quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please avoid opening the windows. Many are old, painted shut, and some have damaged screens. We want to preserve these vintage features.
