Unique Georgian Townhouse Close to Central London

Our Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse is in the heart of East London, close to Victoria Park - and is also just a short tube ride away from the city centre with its world-class galleries, shops, theatres and restaurants. We’ve recently renovated the house with great care, pairing traditional Georgian architecture, marble fireplaces and original fittings with a contemporary aesthetic. The space We really hope that you'll love our three bedroom home. We have recently renovated it with the utmost care, filling it with antiques, vintage pieces and contemporary items. Original beams, floorboards, marble fireplaces and Georgian wooden shutters are offset by industrial exposed steels and a modern, stainless steel kitchen. The ground floor has an antiques-furnished sitting room with an upright piano, and a peaceful double bedroom with a window overlooking the garden. The main bathroom is upstairs, and has a Carrara marble-surrounded bath which is overlooked by a skylight. The are two bedrooms upstairs - a baby's room with a cot that has views over the garden. The other double bedroom has two large windows with views over the gorgeous Georgian street. The basement level has another bathroom with a shower, and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area which is furnished with an antique grandfather clock and vintage Italian lighting, and is overlooked by an enormous glass skylight that floods the area with light. A run of ceiling glazing with sliding glass doors open out onto the garden, where the patio is paved in Petersen Tegl bricks. We have just installed a garden studio at the end. Our house can fit four people across two double bedrooms. Or, if you are travelling with a small child who can sleep in a large cot, then it will fit five. We also have children’s toys and a high chair. Please note that this isn't an AirBnB business but very much our home - so rather than a hotel-style stay, you’ll be staying amongst our things, books, family pictures etc. The renovation is nearly finished, but you’ll find a few outstanding points and snags (light fixtures; a few outstanding items of furniture, etc).
