The space Welcome to Shibira –a lived-in, hands-on farm experience We’re farmers not by profession, but by experience. Many years ago, we stumbled upon these quiet, rolling meadows, and something told us this land could be part of our story. With that instinct, we gathered support from loved ones to preserve its natural beauty—not for profit, but for the sheer joy of leaving something meaningful behind. Our day jobs funded the dream. Weekends, holidays, and every spare moment went into shaping this land into a working farm. It hasn’t been easy—farm life is anything but simple. It’s chaotic, unpredictable, and wild. Over the past twelve years, we’ve shared space with creatures big and small, familiar and strange. And only recently, we’ve started seeing the results—our own coffee and spices. During Covid, we realized we needed a little pocket of peace amidst the bustle—a quiet den in the heart of the farm. That’s how Shibira was born. It’s our gift to ourselves, a place of calm, and a tribute to everything the farm has become—and will continue to grow into. In the last one year, we discovered that many of our friends longed for this connection too. So, we opened up Shibira, inviting others to slow down, soak in the stillness, and experience this little world just like we do.
