The peaceful single room is close to places of interest in Sheffield: 10mins to 13mins drive to the English Institute of Sports; Ponds Forge Intl Sports Centre; Rotherham General Hospital; Sheffield Uni; Sheff Hallam Uni and Sheffield City Centre. It's 27minutes' drive to the Peak District National Park and a walking distance to bus stops, post offices, eateries, and other amenities. It is a semi-detached one-story building. The house is spacious. It has two rooms available for rent: this single room and a separately listed double bedroom which has its own private kitchen. The guest bathroom & toilet is on the ground floor. The bedrooms are just up one short flight of stairs. The house is located on a quiet and peaceful street with easy access to transportation. As this is a family home, we operate a policy of no movement in and out of the building between the hours of 12midnight and 5am, except for emergencies. This is for security reasons. Thanks for your understanding. Guest access Guests have access to free parking all day, and are welcome to share our kitchen, lounge, and back garden. During your stay I am happy to interact with guests but also recognise that some guests would prefer their private space. As this is not my only job, I am away from home most part of some days. But don't worry, the house manual provides information about the house and your way around Sheffield including places to visit. It also contains a phone number to call, in case you need assistance when no one is at home. Other things to note Please, note that the guest bathroom/toilet is on the ground floor. The bedrooms are on the first floor, just up one flight of stairs. You will have your own kettle, tea, and milk in your room, so you can take a cup of tea any time of day. Food can be consumed in your room but please keep the place clean and dispose wastes properly. The dishwahser, washing machine, and tumble dryer are paid services. Please, let the host know if you plan to use them, and she will tell you the cost as well as how to operate them. These 3 facilities and the toaster are in the kitchen.
