Cozy Cabin near South Lake Tahoe

Welcome to Riversong Retreat, a cozy riverfront cabin on the South Fork of the American River, just a short drive from South Lake Tahoe. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin with a loft is the perfect mountain getaway for couples, families, or friends looking to relax and reconnect with nature. The space The Riversong Retreat is a cozy two-bedroom, two-bath cabin with a loft, nestled right along the South Fork of the American River and just a short drive from South Lake Tahoe. Located just a couple of miles from Sierra-at-Tahoe, our cabin is the perfect basecamp for skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and all your favorite outdoor activities. With custom woodwork, a remodeled kitchen, and a spacious wraparound deck, the Riversong Retreat is an ideal place to unwind, relax, and reset. The cabin also includes a flat-screen TV with Roku and high-speed internet for guests who need to work while traveling. We provide all bed and bath linens, so all you need to bring is your luggage and any groceries if you plan to cook or grill during your stay! Gas fireplace is currently out of service but we have central heating for winter months. Maximum of two guests allowed per bedroom in compliance with El Dorado County ordinance. Permit # 072464 Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire cabin, backyard, and parking area! You will receive a code for our keyless entry smart lock to come and go as you please; the code will be sent to you prior to check-in and is valid for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Quiet Hours Our neighborhood observes quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. No Pets Please note that we have a strict no-pets policy. Winter Travel The cabin sits at 5,700 ft and receives heavy snowfall. This can lead to road closures, delays, and unplowed streets or driveways. During winter months, chains are required by law for all vehicles in and around Lake Tahoe, including AWD. Please also be aware that power outages can occur during snowstorms. No AC Like most Tahoe homes, we don’t have air conditioning. We do provide ceiling fans and box fans to keep the house cool at night. High Fire Risk Lake Tahoe is a high fire-risk area. The following are strictly prohibited: - Fireworks - Wood fire pits - Smoking or improper disposal of cigarette butts - Charcoal grills Wildlife We are in an active wildlife area. For your safety and to protect the animals, please: Lock all windows and doors every time you leave the property Remove all food and scented items from your vehicles Do not leave trash or food outside These steps help prevent unwanted encounters with wildlife, including bears. The cabin has one exterior-only security camera used to monitor wildlife and snow levels (there are no indoor cameras). The fireplace is currently out of service, but the central heating works great and fully heats the cabin during winter months.
