Casa Sofia - Macapá Paradise

Have you ever wanted to relax in a wonderful environment with a spacious area, just steps from the beach? Then this accommodation is perfect for you. We offer a new house, equipped with new mattresses, pillows and bed linen, refrigerator, stove, barbecue, blender, sandwich maker and everything you need. A hammock on the balcony allows you to enjoy a wonderful sunrise or sunset, accompanied by the beach breeze. The house was designed by local architect Gabriel Velten. The space The place is perfect for couples with children, a group of friends and/ or kitesurfers. We have two bedrooms, equipped with a large 160 cm x 200 cm mattress in one room and a loft bed in the other room. The sofa in the living area can also be transformed into a sleeping bed. You can wash off sand either in the bathroom or at a shower equipped at the house outside. This shower is also ideal for kitesurfers who want to wash their equipment outside. Of course towels, and other essentials are provided by us. The living area equips a wonderful large dining table and a sofa to wind down, read a book, have a Caipirinha, or a wonderful meal. Other things to note Frequently asked questions: How far is it from the beach? It's about 500 m to the beach, less than 10 minutes walking and 2 minutes by car. What amenities apart from the usual do you have in the house? We have an iron, cooking essentials and two bicycles for rent. ​ What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is from 3 pm onwards, and check-out is until 11 am. Do you have restaurant recommendations? Yes our arrival guide will be a great source. ​ Is there a gas station on Macapá Beach? The last gas station is located on Coqueiro Beach. ​ How do I get to Barra Grande? You can go by car, going around the river, which takes a while (best to consult Google Maps) or take a boat to cross the river. You can ask at Bar Chico Izauro (indicated on Google Maps) to catch the boat. There are two options, speedboat (which is more expansive) and fishing boats that make this trip. It is best to get more indications in terms of pricing etc. at the beach bar Chico Izauro. Where do I leave my trash? There is a blue trash can, leaving the blue gate, on the other side of the street on the left. How far is it from Luis Correia? It is about 30 minutes. Are there hammocks in the house? Yes, we have at least one hammock in each house. Do you have fast internet? Yes, our internet connection is 400 Mbps, which makes the place ideal for working remotely. Do you have air conditioning?
