It’s the perfect place to fully switch off, with a fabulous array of walking trails directly from your front door. You’ll also be within easy reach of the coast, with the seaside resort of Rhyl just 10 miles away. You are invited to enjoy a variety of holistic treatments during your stay (at an additional cost) in the owner’s onsite spa. The space The stylish holiday home is decorated in neutral tones and floor-to-ceiling windows frame tranquil views across the valley. The light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner is a wonderful place to unwind after a long walk, with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a cosy wood burner for those chilly nights. Whip up a tasty meal for two in the sleek kitchen area, to enjoy together at the table by the window. When it’s time for bed, retire to the inviting king-size bedroom, which has patio doors opening onto the garden. An indulgent bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed garden has a choice of seating areas, so you can dine alfresco or read a book whilst admiring the uninterrupted mountain vistas. You are also welcome to explore the surrounding grounds, including the wildflower meadows and butterfly gardens. The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley are a paradise for walkers, with a network of tracks criss-crossing the magnificent heather-clad hills of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the cottage, you can also join the Clwydian Way footpath, which joins up with the long-distance Offa’s Dyke Path, 0.5 miles away. For a more relaxing, laid-back stroll, head to the majestic parklands of Loggerheads Country Park (12 miles). For retail therapy and excellent eateries, journey to the market towns of Denbigh (5 miles) or Mold (13 miles).
