Tiny House on the farm

Welcome to the Tiny Home at Aurora Ridge Farms. Surrounded by the beautiful country, the Tiny Home is located on the back of our 18 acre property, offering you a peaceful place to get away. Built in 2023 by Mint Tiny House Company, we've thought through every detail to make this 400 square foot space feel like home. Enjoy watching our horses graze in the field from your own private oasis. You may also catch a glimpse of the dancing Northern lights. The space The Tiny Home is located on the back of our property with it's own driveway access. We will send you instructions on how to get here a few days before your trip, as GPS will lead you to the wrong property. There is plenty of parking for larger trucks or trailers. Please note, we do have a power line running through the property and there are times where you will be able to hear the electric hum while outside (mostly during rain or snow). The main bedroom and loft sleeping area are each equipped with a white noise machine to give you the best possible sleeping experience. Both beds have fluffy, soft duvets and high quality bedding to make your sleeping space as cozy as possible. The toilet is a waterless compostable toilet which is quite simple to use. When you check in, we will go over instructions on how to use it. You'll be saving gallons of water during your stay! The Tiny Home is equipped with a propane forced air furnace, electric heat as well as a heat pump. There is a reading nook in the ladder loft with an adjustable floor chair. In the living room, you will find some card games, a crib board and a magnetic chess board. There is no TV in the Tiny Home as we'd like you to have the opportunity to totally unplug. That being said, we have Starlink wifi if you choose to bring a tablet. Please note that we are in a very rural area, so it is important to be bear aware! Our Guests are often able to enjoy watching a bear or deer passing through the field. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the back of our property which is approximately 7 acres of space. Depending on what season you are staying, our horses may be grazing in the field that surrounds the Tiny Home. We do ask Guests to remain on the back of the property as our family home is located on the front half where we are working and playing. From time to time, you may see us collecting a horse from the field. Otherwise, you will have total and absolute privacy. Other things to note We do not charge a cleaning fee! This is your vacation and we do not expect you to spend it doing chores. All we ask is that you treat the space respectfully.
