In the garden, relax in our heated pool or jacuzzi, or prepare a meal on the barbecue. Five minutes from the beaches and ten from the center of Ponta Delgada, the house is located in an excellent location to discover the whole island. Besides, there is a minimarket 50 meters away and Continente supermarket just a 5-minute drive away. The space Lotus House is an accommodation designed to provide a high level of comfort and family interaction, as the living room opens up through glass windows to the outdoor area (backyard, pool area, and jacuzzi) and also to the kitchen. For this purpose, all rooms in the house (bedrooms and living and dining area) are equipped with air conditioning and electronically controlled curtains operated by a remote control. The living room is also equipped with a fireplace, a large smart TV, and a sound system that can be activated via Bluetooth. Ground Floor: On the ground floor, you will have access to the living and dining area, kitchen, a shared bathroom, laundry room, and a bedroom (suite) with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: - The master bedroom (suite) equipped with a large TV and overlooking the pool and Barrosa Mountain (Lagoa do Fogo). It can accommodate an additional single bed if needed. This room also has access to an outdoor balcony. - Another bedroom with two single beds that provides access to two outdoor balconies. - The last bedroom, also a suite, has a queen-size bed and can accommodate an additional single bed if needed. It also has access to one of the outdoor balconies, where you can enjoy a morning yoga session, pilates exercises, or simply relax in the sun. Outside, you will find: - A barbecue area next to the kitchen, equipped with firewood and other barbecue utensils. - A chill-out area with sofas, armchairs, and sun loungers. - The heated pool maintained at 28 degrees Celsius. - Jacuzzi. - An outdoor bathroom and shower facilities for poolside use. - A landscaped garden with flowers, lawns, and some vegetation, with trees at the end of the garden. At night, you can enjoy the illuminated beauty of the vegetation as well as the lighting of the pool and jacuzzi. Other things to note In the outdoor area, in the garden, there is a signal repeater installed so that you can have access to the Wi-Fi signal even if you are by the pool, in the jacuzzi, or in another area of the garden. We will always leave you with a physical key, but you can also access the house through a code that we will provide you during check-in. The standard check-in time is after 5 p.m. It can be any time if the house is available, but it needs to be confirmed beforehand. Please note: Check-ins between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. incur a 25€ fee. Check-ins after 10:30 p.m. incur a 35€ fee. The same 35€ fee applies to check-ins before 8:00 AM. All check-in fees are charged upon arrival in cash. We would like to inform you that, as of January 1, 2025, a new law has come into effect in the Azores, which requires the charge of a tourist tax of €2 per night, per guest, for the first 3 nights of their stay. This charge will be applied to all guests, unless they meet one of the exemption criteria set out in the legislation. Exemptions: The following categories are exempt from the tourist tax: a) Guests under the age of 13; b) Guests whose stay is motivated by the need to receive medical services, for the duration of the necessary treatment plus one additional night, with this exemption extending to one person accompanying the patient (even if the companion does not stay overnight at the establishment due to health reasons); c) Guests with a physical disability of 60% or greater; d) Residents of the Azores.
