This bright and light cottage, with splashes of purple as a feature wall and furnishings has been elegantly decorated to provide a great home-from-home for friends and families looking to get away from it all in a quiet and tranquil countryside location. On the ground floor, a spacious open plan living space features quirky exposed stone work around the dainty windows, and a lovely wood-burning stove, which is perfect for those cooler evenings. The lounge area also has two comfy sofas, along with a flat screen TV, a DVD player and bright purple feature wall that provides a lovely spot to relax and enjoy time together after enjoyable days exploring the local area. A large country pine table comfortably seats 6, and is the ideal place to gather everyone for breakfast or supper. The kitchen area is well-equipped and has been fitted to a good standard. It includes a fridge, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, microwave and an electric oven with hob. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms, including two double bedrooms both with a king-sized bed and a twin room with two full size single beds. The final room on the first floor is the newly refurbished bathroom, which has a bath with shower overhead, a WC and a wash-basin. Outside, Duror has its own private terrace area with table seating up to six. The terrace has wonderful views of the countryside and fishing lakes. Guest access The entire cottage, the 4.5 acres of communal grounds, the children's play area and use the private fishing lakes.
