In the rare case of an outage at night, the bedroom air conditioner will continue to run, but the living room unit should be turned off. Thankfully, the apartment tends to stay cool at night. We have two friendly German Shepherds, Gaia and Max. While they love people, we keep them in a large pen behind the house during guest stays to ensure peace and privacy unless you feel comfortable with dogs.
