Entire Converted Coach House

This unique place has a style all its own. The lounge boasts an impressive vaulted celling with magnificent ancient beams, an extremely comfortable sofa bed, and large flat-screen TV (with Apple TV, Netflix and Prime Video) Adjacent is a mini kitchen containing the essentials and a stylish modern ensuite wet room, with shower sink and toilet Stairs lead up to a mezzanine with double mattress and stunning view of the property. Town centre is 15-20 mins walk Mainline station is 25 mins walk The space The coach house is located in the private front garden/driveway of our property. The whole property is safely enclosed by brick walls and accessed by electric gates. The double height lounge contains a extremely comfortable easy to use large double sofa bed, (this is the main sleeping area) and arm chair, industrial style shelving with small cupboard, folding table and folding chairs and a large flat-screen TV (with Apple TV box) To the right is a mini kitchenette containing an under counter fridge freezer, microwave, small stone kitchen sink, plug in electric double hob, kettle toaster, crockery, cooking equipment, utensils etc. The ensuite wet room, is a wet room with shower sink and toilet, and a shower screen that’s use is optional. The ensuite has underfloor heating. (A new more powerful hotter shower has just been installed March 2024) Twisty little stairs lead up to a mezzanine with small double comfortable Simba mattress tucked snuggly under the eaves (not suitable for the elderly). There is a small storage space to one end and stunning view of the property. (Please note, the balcony of the mezzanine has been raised much higher since the photos were taken to make it safer for children and a stair gate has been added) The property now is heated by oil fired radiators (since feb 2025) and an air source heat pump, which can also be used as air conditioning in the summer. The property is extremely well insulated with thick layers hemp keeping it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Curtains are black out lined There is parking space available for use on the drive way (additional spaces may be available on request but this must be agreed before booking.) We can accommodate vehicles larger than cars e.g. transit vans, camper vans etc. just consider the width of access is 2.5 meters. You must select pet when booking with a pet so you are charged the pet fee up front, otherwise this will be retrieved after your stay. An outdoor table and chairs can be provided on request for use in the front driveway If you would like to stay 1 night at a time the minimum number of nights it set at 2 please ask, it is normally possible but will cost £95 for the night. IF BRINGING PET from EUROPE, MAKE SURE you have given it the RABIES vaccination, have waited the required time and have the information in your pet passport. Also make sure you have had the required worming treatment with in 72hrs but before 24hrs of attempting to cross the boarder OR you PET will NOT be allowed in to the U.K. Guest access Guest have full private access to the whole coach house. Guests also have access to the shared driveway, and will be allocated one parking space here. There is also a bike shed for bike storage, and an area in the front driveway where the fold out dinning table and chairs can be used Other things to note Mobility equipment such as raised toilet seat, half step, raised bed mattress with bed rail etc for elderly/ reduced mobility guests can be provided free of charge. Some children’s toys and high chair can be provided free of charge
