Our semi-detached cottage boasts a spectacular position nestled into the bay overlooking Loch Carron with Slumbay island on the doorstep. Within walking distance are various local amenities or use Lochcarron as an excellent base to tour further afield. Easter - October: 6 or 7 night stays preferred. It is semi-detached with its own private entrance (the middle red door in the main picture). The freezer and laundry facilities in the shed are shared (the red door on the far right). Relax and take in the surroundings in the garden or cosy up by the fire in the living room. Outside there are benches and outdoor furniture for you to relax on. Inside there are two floors. Downstairs there is a comfortable living room with TV, open coal fire and dining table that can be extended if you need more space for dining, working or playing board games. There is a well equipped galley kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, large toaster and freestanding cooker. There are also plenty of utensils and crockery provided for home cooking. A door off the kitchen downstairs leads to a newly fitted shower room. Upstairs has a double bedroom with storage and stunning views over the loch. Also, beside the bedroom, there is a bathroom upstairs with a toilet, wash hand basin and small bath. There is electric heating throughout the house and a coal fire to keep cosy. The Wifi is good and the passcode is provided on arrival. Sorry we cannot accommodate any pets. Maximum 2 guests, however a baby would be welcome and a travel cot can be provided. This is a much loved family cottage. We hope you treat it as your home away from home and adore the location as much as we do. Guest access Guests have access to their entire house as well as the laundry shed and the garden, including washing line. The black shed and wood stores are private. Other things to note Friday or Saturday check-ins and check-outs are preferred but happy to consider all booking requests. 6/7 night stays are preferred but shorter stays may become available.
