Chateau Seailles: Country comfort & historic charm

This recently renovated 3 bedroom stone house, was the former village bakery, & later the residence of the Chateau Guardian. In the grounds of the Chateau de Seailles, nestled in it's 6 hectares of park, woodland & garden. Visitors to this lovely holiday rental, have access to beautiful strolling paths, a pond and a swimming pool, as well as private courtyard with bbq & outdoor eating area. The pool, is a 3 minute walk from the Gite, ensuring that the joyful noise of the pool does not disturb. The space The Ground Floor: Chefs Kitchen with large dining area Cozy Living room with historic brick bread ovens (decorative only) Full bathroom Toilet Bedroom (with 160cm king bed) Upstairs: Bedroom with a four poster king bed (160cm), over a private mews, with views of the walled courtyard and potager veggie garden beyond. Bedroom with a 160cm king bed and two 100cm single beds. This is a large room in the eaves of the house, with a skylight and window, with a view of the front park. Full bathroom - A large brand new, stylish, modern bathroom. Shared by the two upstairs bedrooms. Small sitting room / library area. A nook at the top of the stairs with views of the front park, and cupboards full of books and board games. Information for those with accessibility issues: There is one step at the front door, two steps at the back door, and two interior steps between the area with bathroom and kitchen, and the area with the living room and ground floor bedroom. Then there is a flight of stairs up to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. This gite is still in the process of being renovated. Photos are of early stage basics. Guest access Guests have access to: An enclosed walled courtyard with bbq and outdoor eating area. A large salt water swimming pool, and adjacent orangerie, for lounging in the shade. Both the pool and the orangery are shared with the owners of the Chateau. Walking paths through woodlands, orchard, front park and around the lower pond. But without specific permission do not have access to to the south lawn and upper pond, the chateau and its courtyard, chai, chateau workshops, chapel and garages. Other things to note We have a very friendly (sometimes excessively so), dog and three cats, who freely roam the property. Although the chateau does have event spaces, events are permitted with prior written approval, and associated services and fees.
