You can also walk to the old town and Galata Bridge and on the way you can feel the atmosphere of the city by walking through the narrow streets lined with chic boutiques, art galleries, cafes and restaurants exclusively set up to lure tourists. The flats are air-conditioned and each room includes double bed and a sitting area, an LCD TV and Wifi connection. This card will help you to pay less and go wherever you want with the public transportation. The only thing you need is to load some money in it.. Galata Tower,Taksim Square, Asmalimescit, Karakoy are very close, walking distance, to hang around in Istanbul. It is very easy to reach historical places like Ayasofya, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, by walking it takes less than 20 min . All central places like Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Karakoy, Mecidiyeköy, Sisli, Besiktaş are very close by public transportation. From Atatürk Airport, there are two transportation options except taxi - You can take the metro from airport (M1A line- Airport - Yenikapı line) to "Yenikapı" station and change to the other line M2 ( Yenikapı - Hacıosman Line) to "Şişhane" station. Şişhane metro station is just 3-4 min away to my place by walking, just at the end of the road we belong. - The other option is taking shuttle buses ( Havatas shuttle bus) to directly to Taksim square. and From "Taksim" you take either take a taxi ( 3-4 min) or take the metro to "Şişhane" station ( just one stop after Taksim) .You can also walk in 18 min. From Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the easist way is to take the shuttle buses ( Havatas ) to Taksim directy as this airport is more far from the Atatürk airport and located in the asian side of Istanbul. It takes depending on the traffic between 45 min - 1.15 hour. If you want to reach here by taxi from the airport, you can also call me so I can speak with the taxi driver for the exact address description, it prevents to loose time.
