Relax with family or friends at this peaceful 2 BR 1 BA cottage. Private wooded setting with enclosed porch, deck, outdoor shower, and fire pit. Plenty of room to relax outside, grill on the BBQ and stargaze by the fire. Explore Shawnee and Blue Knob state parks and downtown Bedford within 10 miles . Plenty of walking and biking trails nearby, covered bridges and more... The space The cottage is in a rustic setting, remodeled former hunting cabin. Large outside spaces, yard with fire pit, outdoor shower, enclosed porch and elevated deck. Wildlife are regular visitors and no neighbors in sight. Please note the main room has fairly low ceilings at 6'6". The two bedrooms are attached and second bedroom is accessed through the first. New water tank , plumbing and water softener installed in 2024. Guest access Washer and dryer in basement with separate entrance. Covered storage under deck. Catch and release pond - no swimming allowed! Other things to note GPS directions are accurate, but Burketts Rd street sign is difficult to spot. Take driveway which goes up to the left of the white house with lion statues (cars parked just off driveway), go up gravel drive with green metal sign on wooden pole at edge of woods. Continue past stop sign to yellow cottage on right side, parking area is beside house. The log house and barn are the owners who may be present periodically.
