Converted in 2023, this old Irish traditional barn is just 10 miles from Belfast and 2 miles from the busy market town of Comber. This hidden gem is a tardis at nearly 1000sq ft and tucked up a country lane surrounded by fields. Spend summertime in the garden patio watching the sunsets and winters with the roaring stove, watching the wildlife around us, and the stars at night. The space Our cozy, warm cottage has underfloor heating, a large kitchen, dining, living room with a wood-burning stove with large windows overlooking the garden and the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, including a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and lots of cooking utensils. We’ve a smart TV and high-speed WiFi, and lots of books and games. There is a main bedroom with a king bed and a second twin bedroom with two singles. We have a good-sized enclosed garden and a patio. In the summer, the patio gets the sun from the afternoon through to sunset, so you can also watch from the living room. It’s so cosy and warm due to the underfloor heating. We get lots of great feedback on our mattresses - our guests get a great night's sleep. Note: there are two steps into the main bedroom. There many beautiful walks and cycle routes and you can safely cycle into Belfast along the Comber Greenway, a traffic free route for most of the journey.
