Seymour Cottage Close to Attractions

Seymour Cottage is a three-minute drive (20-minute walk) from town cafes, pubs, shops and historic station, which provides near hourly, daily services to and from Melbourne. With three bedrooms and two baths, our former family home is ideal for friends gathering for a country get-away or family reunion. Seymour and the surrounding communities are home to award winning wineries, outdoor recreational activities - including the Great Victorian Rail Trail and Lake Nagambie - and military history. The space Seymour Cottage is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with mature landscapes that attract a large variety of birds that put on quite a display during the morning cuppa under our covered backyard veranda. The outdoor space also includes a barbecue and large table for outdoor family entertaining. The bedrooms are spacious for up to eight guests, with an ensuite off one bedroom and a large second bathroom. We also provide a washer and dryer and the basic kitchen amenities. Or settle into the lounge room to watch telly, play a game or read a book. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home. The garage is locked, providing storage for our seasonal visits. Other things to note The majority of the house is cooled and heated via a reverse cycling system. The back bedroom also provides a window a/c unit and electric wall heater. This is a single level home, with two steps into the front door and five steps off the back deck landing.
