Drive time is approximately 1 hour west of Austin and 1 hour north of San Antonio in the heart of Texas. Conveniently located near several Texas State Parks and the Balcones Canyonland Refuge, it is a convenient spot for hiker, birders and off-roaders to get off the beaten path. We feature a pool and hot tub on site for guests, as well as a hot breakfast to order. No cleaning fee The space This is a small ranch situated on 6 acres in a quiet residential area in Smithwick, Texas with fully enclosed privacy fence. Relax, unwind, disconnect from your daily life. Enjoy the resident wildlife and birds including a grey fox, cardinals and hummingbirds (spring to early fall) and enjoy the stars and sky big and bright deep in the heart of Texas. Guest access You'll have a private bedroom with bath en suite and a private porch. Each bedroom is outfitted with a coffee maker, coffee supplies, microwave, mini fridge and complimentary snacks, bottled waters and drinks. Shared access with other guests include open concept kitchen, dining, and living areas. Work space is available in the great room as well as the sun porch, deck and pool house. During your stay We will be available to show you to your room, show you the property and amenities, assist you with your luggage, offer suggestions on tourist attractions, assist you with kayak transport lake side, and assist with other amenities as need. We will provide you a hot or packed breakfast as suits your schedule. We offer daily Happy Hour appetizers.
