Bushland Get-away at Otford Park

Our tiny cabin is on private bushland acreage, on the edge of the Royal National Park, accessed via a 250m private track from the roadway. -Wake up to native bird calls -Walk to iconic ocean lookouts -Swim at the local beaches or hike the many trails, -Relax with a bbq or cosy around the fire pit -Soak in a hot bubble bath under the stars. Nestled between the iconic Bald Hill and Otford valley , and alongside the famous Grand Pacific drive, there is much to do, or luxuriate and do nothing The space Our tiny house is compact but abundant in anything you may need. All the ambience of national parkland but with the cosy comforts of a modern tiny house. - All on one level, accessed by just 3 steps and approximately 20m wood chip covered slope between your car and the cabin. If mobility is an issue for you, please talk to us first. The tiny house is situated about 300m from the road, and being surrounded by bushland, the track in can be very dark late at night. If you plan to arrive late at night, please forewarn us, and I'll leave the tiny house lights on for your arrival. - Queen sized bed with soft mattress topper plus both firm pillows and soft pillows. Doona, blankets and throw rugs & an optional soft waterproof pad. High ceiling with large skylight over the bed to view the stars at night - The sofa bed - comfy with a small coffee table that can be tipped sideways for room for two - Bedside tables feature lamps, power access and double USB power points. - Yoga. Many of our guest have enjoyed doing yoga on the large deck, so we now supply two yoga mats (4mm thickness) - rolled up in the bed drawer - A Walk in shower big enough for two - powered by a large electric hot water tank - Hot outdoor bath (gas tank fired) - complete with bubbles or salts - perfect to relax under the stars - Bathroom is complete with washing machine & dryer, bathrobes, bidet hose, & eco friendly Compost toilet - Gas BBQ features not only a grill but also a burner for outdoor cooking with wok and fry pans. - Large microwave and electric rice cooker - A portable electric hot plate. - Coffee, coffe beans, tea and milk provided. Espresso machine for an awesome cappuccino and instant coffee or tea if you prefer. A few nibbles are also provided for your arrival. - The large merbau deck has full sun all morning - to soak up the rays on the sunbeds or relax in the deep shade of the large market umbrella - Below the deck is the large fire pit area with comfy seating, Approx 20kg Split firewood is provided complimentary for each 2 night stay. More may be purchased on request. - Also included is the 10 kg washer and dryer set, perfect if you need to wash clothes over an extended stay - Our property is abundant in wildlife from parrots, to sugar-gliders to herds of deer strolling through. You may also want to visit our pet horses, ducks and chickens (please ask first if you wish to help feed them) - Access to the tiny house . The drive in from the road is approx 300m, via an asphalt covered track (please see photographs ) . It is steep in a couple of sections but the majority of cars manage it fine. Please message me if you’re unsure . -Mobile reception: Currently only Telstra signal is obtainable in the Otford valley. We have provided 4G wifi for guests to use - Please note, the tiny house is in view of our private camping site about 50m in front, which may or may not have guests at the time of booking. Camp guests are requested to keep their distance from the tiny house surrounds. And the the tiny house deck is relatively out of the campers' direct line of sight. - For guest security we have gates with CCTV at the two key entrances. No one without prior permission is allowed access to our acreage Guest access The tiny house and its landscaped area with fire pit is all for you. Our acreage is a working hobby farm too, so horses and wildlife also share the landscape. Other things to note We're on Sydney drinking water, so safe to drink and shower with. Shower is an electric hot water tank, and the bathtub gas heated. The toilet is an ecofriendly waterless very long drop compost toilet Registration details Exempt
