Mount Olivet Luxury Raised Tent - Mountain views

COME AND ENJOY an off-grid luxury camping experience in the beautiful Thabazimbi bushveld. View the game in the sunset/sunrise from the stunning raised deck or in the lovely dip pool and experience the stunning 360 scenic views of the Kransberg mountains and surrounding hills. There are two adjoining camping pitches to bring guests with you. (Please contact host to make arrangements with host.) Fully solar, off grid. 4x4 required for rainy months, as the farm roads can get extremely muddy. The space The luxury insulated tent with aircon, fan, king size four poster bed, and spacious shower and small kitchenette is suitable for two. Two adjacent camping spots are available for you to bring family or friends to accompany you (to be arranged with the host.) The tent and camping spots are entirely for your private use with no other campers nearby. Enjoy the dip-pool, outside braai/fire pit or weber braai on the deck. The farm is 72 hectares of bushveld that you are free to walk or drive around and enjoy the game, a resident aardvark, serval and african cat. There is an abundant variety of bird life and the big five Marakele Game reserve on your doorstep. There is no wifi at the tent but we can accommodate the need for WiFi at our Pilgrims Rest Campsite. Please note: - Mount Olivet is fully solar with no back up option. Please use power sparingly on cloudy days (mostly the use of air con non stop can drain the batteries.) - 4x4 is required for the rainy months as the farm roads can get very muddy. Guest access There is 72 hectares of bushveld to drive or walk around. Only the house area is private. A campsite with ablution block is on the top end of the property, on the Marakele Game reserve fence line where you can get wifi if required. - Mount Olivet is fully solar with no back up option. Other things to note The raised deck of the tent is not safe for young children. The luxury tent is for two guests, but you are welcome to bring friends and family with their own camping gear at 200 Rand per person per night and 150 for children 5-15 years per night.
