Nestled bang in the centre of Kolkata, this busy yet quiet place is close to most of the city's hubs. A twin unit of 300 Sq feet+, perfect for a couple or a family of four. It can accommodate 4-5 people with request for additional beds. This is a newly renovated unit with South facing balcony that is 20 feet long and 5 feet wide. It gets a lot of sunlight all day. On 2nd floor of a 3-floor house owned by a single local family with liberal values. We love to cook and serve local food. The space This is a twin room on the second floor with a separate entrance. There are two rooms, one is the living room and the other one is the bedroom, separated by a sliding door. Both the rooms open to a common balcony that gets sunlight through the day. Bedroom has an attached compact pantry with a cabinet refrigerator, microwave oven, utensils and a sink. The pantry leads to the attached bathroom with a large window that gets a lot of light and is very airy. During your stay We live in the property and work from home on most days if not traveling out of town for work. We have many friends from India and around the world and love interacting with people from every place. We love to cook and eat together. We have a full-time caretaker and cook on property who can cook local and delicious home food on request. On some days, the hosts like to cook pan-Indian authentic cuisine along with South East Asian food as well. It would not be uncommon to see them using the herbs and chillies growing on their lush terrace garden. Other things to note Access to the property is through a busy shoe market famous in Kolkata. It is less than a minute's walk from the main Road. Please let us know before you arrive and we will be happy to assist and guide you to the building.
