Dartmouth House with a View Choose 1-3 bedrooms

Relax and enjoy all Dartmouth and the Devon coast has to offer, from this beautifully finished house. Stunning views of the Dart and town from every floor and garden, it even has its own garage close by. With a very well equipped, locally built kitchen & lounge you can choose to book this house with just one bedroom or add on two additional bedrooms for upto 6 people, so it’s perfect for a romantic break for 2 or a family holiday. There is a large bathroom and an additional shower room. The space This is our four storey home from home. With great views across Dartmouth and the River Dart from every floor and the garden, we hope you enjoy staying here as much as we do, With up to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this house can accommodate up to 6 people. But If you are looking for a romantic break for two we allocate the master bedroom and bathroom, plus the stunning kitchen and lounge. The master can be set up as a twin if you prefer, so let us know when you book. The other two bedrooms, on floor two and three, are opened up if you book for 3-6 people. The room on the second floor is a pretty double, with painted floor boards and at the top of the house is a bright, coastal themed twin room. The main bathroom is very spacious and has a roll top freestanding bath and a separate large shower cubicle. On the second floor we have added a compact shower room, with a rainwater shower which is a very useful addition to the house. The kitchen is a particular feature, hand built by a local craftsman it is far from your average holiday let kitchen! Outside you can enjoy a lovely decked area providing a large outside dining space, below this is an Astro turfed seating/ sunbathing area, both with views over Dartmouth, the Dart in one direction and beautiful countryside in the other. The house sits on the sunnyside of the valley, even in the winter months you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting in the sun on the deck. From the house it is a lovely walk into town, that takes about 8 minutes, down some of the iconic Dartmouth streets, if you don’t fancy the walk back up we recommend the 90 bus that stops almost outside the house. Dartmouth itself offers a great selection of restaurants, shops and of course the river, with the all of the coastline to explore and Dartmoor easily accessible, there is certainly plenty to do. A few key points to note: the house is approached down a flight of steps and has four flights of stairs so isn’t suitable for anyone with limited mobility. Parking can be an issue in Dartmouth so we purchased a garage just down the road for our guests to use or we park in the road adjoining ours (full details in the house). Please note the garage measures D5.19m x H2.1m x W2.25m. When you arrive at the property you can pull up outside to unload and then go and park. The garage is a 5 minute walk from the property. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs and Dartmouth is a very dog friendly town, as our dogs can testify! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Guest access This house isn’t shared with anyone. We open up more bedrooms the more people that are booked, therefor if you are a single traveller or a couple this lovely house can come well within budget and you get to enjoy a beautiful bedroom and fabulous living areas. Other things to note Remember if you book for 1-2 people you will have access to the master bedroom, for 3-6 people the additional double and twin bedrooms will be opened up as required. This means if there are only two of you you can book this whole house for a similar price to much smaller one beds, plus you get a lovely garden too.
