South facing double bedroom with a separate second bedroom which could be used for a fellow traveller in this tranquil and peaceful home. Located on a quiet residential road with a beautiful garden, but just a ten minute walk in to the historic market town of Richmond with it’s abundance of cafés and restaurants & it's very own castle giving fantastic views across the Swale and beyond. Richmond not only has a rich history, but is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales ! The space "The Sanctuary" is literally a sanctuary from the outside world and a peaceful environment where guests can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of this very beautiful home and garden. The spacious hallway where you can hang your coats and leave bags and shoes leads to the staircase and takes you to a private bathroom and a south facing, warm and cozy bedroom with a very comfortable double bed where everyone, even insomniacs sleep soundly! A beautiful rattan chair piled high with cushions gives that extra luxury, comfort and coziness. The second room is next to the double room and a completely separate space with a single bed, so that it can either be made up as an extra sleeping space if travelling with a colleague or friend or it could be used a private office or just be a space to spread into! It has also been used for children sleeping top to toe and there is a travel cot available for little ones. As a homeopath and spiritual teacher for the past twenty years I have quite a library of inspiring books, so you can curl up with a good book in front of the wood burner in the evening. In contrast the kitchen and breakfast room is very spacious, light and airy where it feels like the garden is literally part of the house. There is a Juicer & NutriBullet for those wanting a really healthy start to the day and fresh bread for toasting from the Richmond award winning "Angel Share bakery" plus an abundance of fruit, cereals and homemade jams and of course fresh coffee and an array of different teas. (I find it easy to cater for all diets so please just let me know any preferences). The french windows give a wonderful view into the garden where there are lots of seating areas to fully immerse yourself within this most beautiful garden where you will find it is an absolute joy to listen and watch the antics of the birds! There are always fresh organic eggs from the local farm shop so some love to make a cooked breakfast and many enjoy cooking an evening meal at the end of the day for a cozy night in! Guest access Guests have their private bedroom and bathroom plus a second room that can be used as additional bedroom or a private work space. Downstairs the kitchen and sitting room is open plan. so spacious as well as being comfortable and cozy with the log burner. There is a utility room and so access to a washing machine and easy access to the garden. During your stay Working from home means I will be around if needed for recommendations on where to visit and the best cafes in town ! Other things to note You can prebook for a session whilst here of Reiki & Seichem Healing, a Homeopathic Consultation or a Mediative Session in the beautiful clinic room (see pictures) for added relaxation and rejuvenation whilst here or many guests come back either solo or with friends for a retreat weekend which can be booked during your stay.
