The Loft @ Crown Cottage

The Loft at Crown Cottage is within the grounds of a traditional black and white cottage, formerly a pub, in the pretty village of Clifton upon Teme, in the Teme Valley; surrounded by beautiful hills, woods, farmland and stunning viewpoints. The Loft is a spacious bedroom with luxury en suite facilities. The two sky lights provide light during the day and a viewing point t for star gazing at night. It is set in a friendly village with a local shop and a pub located across from the property. The space The Loft at Crown Cottage is a self contained space above an oak framed garage. It comprises of a bedroom with seating area and desk; an ideal working space; tea and coffee making facilities including a coffee machine with a variety of coffee pods, toaster, mini-fridge, cereals and milk all available on your first morning with us. There is a separate en-suite with shower, toiletries and a heated towel rail. There is no street lighting in the village however the property is well lit from dusk. Guest access The Loft is self contained and is accessed by the steps to the side of the building with its own privately accessed door. A key box is located at the bottom of the steps for secure access to keys and for self check-in on arrival. Parking is off road and directly beneath the room. Please note the stairs are the only way into the property and therefore may not be suitable for those with difficulty walking up stairs. Parking is available within the property grounds, off road private and behind closed gates. Other things to note The Loft is closely located within walking distance of the Shelsley Hill Climb, Worcestershire Way and many other walking routes. The Malvern Hills can be seen from the village and is a half hour drive. This provides again, many different walking routes and fantastic views across the valley to Wales making The Loft an ideal location for walking holidays. Clifton upon Teme dates back to Saxon times and has many period properties around the village. The historic Worcester city centre is 11 miles away, the home of the magnificent Worcester Cathedral, a bustling shopping centre and more Tudor buildings. The main centre has a frequently run bus service from the village to the city. Clifton is not far from Shakespeare’s birth place and many sights around the city tell the story of the great writer. The Loft is an ideal stay over for any business trip in the Teme valley, Worcester town or en route to Shropshire or Wales. There is a separate good sized desk, Wi-Fi and laptop riser available.
