Description

The perfect family property where everyone - four-pawed members of the pack included - will find something to go mutts for. Sleeping four guests and one dog, the location of this rural cottage puts the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the County Durham coast within easy reach, ideal for pups who prefer walkies in the countryside or games of fetch on wide sandy beaches. The space At home, a spacious, enclosed courtyard provides an abundance of space for both dogs and humans to unwind alfresco, ideal for lazy afternoons where you prefer staying close to home. Take a dip in the hot tub and let Fido sniff out all four corners of this generous outdoor space, perhaps firing up the BBQ as day turns to night. Truly a bright and cheerful space to call your own, head up a couple of steps into the open-plan living space and feel instantly at home. The lounge/kitchen/diner offers a real hub of the house, complete with hardwood flooring that won’t be affected by muddy paws or wet fur. Sit in the lounge area where floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with light, switching on the Smart TV whilst your much-loved pet curls up by your feet. When it’s time for bed you’ll find two bedrooms right here on the ground floor - let sleeping dogs lie and catch forty winks of your own. Jump in the car and travel to the North Pennines AONB (10 miles) or the northern peak of the Yorkshire Dales National Park (27 miles) to discover unforgettable daily dog walks. The ever-changing scenery and rugged landscapes will keep all the humans in the pack entertained, whilst chasing tennis balls and wildlife is sure to entertain your pup. The coast is similarily just a short drive away (18 miles). Head to the dog-friendly beach at Crimdon (19.5 miles) for ball games on the expanse of sandy shore.
