Ride your horse or hike directly into the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area from the resort. Abundant wildlife, including bears, bobcats and deer. Hi-speed internet allows guests to remote work from the cabin and still be enjoying the quiet of the woods. Private 4 stall horse barn and turnout area that can be seen from the covered porch. Closest cabins to the Cumberland River The space Located on 6.8 acres, Bear Cat Cabin has on the first floor a queen bed bedroom, a full bathroom with a tub & shower combination, a fully stocked kitchen (just bring your own food), a dining table with four chairs, living room area with a futon, heated massage recliner, loveseat, 50” large screen TV and a full size washer and dryer. The upstairs open loft features a queen log bed. Please note this is an open loft with stairs to access. Each bedroom and the living area have a smart Roku TV. The covered porch extends on 3 sides of the cabin with ample seating areas. The horse barn is located directly adjacent to the cabin. No walking up a hill or down the road to your horses. Watch your horses in their stalls or paddock directly from the back porch! Horses are an additional $20 per horse fee with a maximum of 4. No other pets allowed, including emotional support and service animals, due to an owner allergy and those of other guests. Corral panel pasture for horse turnout is available behind the barn and is included with stall rental. Trails on the property to walk to the creek and around the cabin. Four trails in the resort lead directly onto the Pilot Wines Loop trail in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. River access is just 5 miles down Station Camp road for fishing, a picnic next to the river or more hiking trails. Max 4 guests and 4 horses. The cabin is best enjoyed by a couple. Guest access Guests have full use of the cabin. Standard rental stalls are stalls 3 & 4. Stalls are required if bringing a horse and are an additional $20 per horse per night and fee will be requested after initial booking through Airbnb. Maximum of 4 horses- one per stall. There are steps required into the cabin and to access the loft. The cabin is not wheelchair accessible. The crawl space and outdoor shed are not part of the cabin rental. Other things to note The cabin is located in a gated resort that borders the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and is only 5 miles down to the river. Cabin has hi-speed internet free to guests and plenty of firewood for the outside backyard fire pit. Those bringing horses please note your booking fee will not include horse fees which will be sent separately.- $20 per horse per night (includes pelleted bedding) -limit of 4. Stalls not cleaned upon check out will incur an extra stall cleaning fee of $20 per stall or add this service when requesting stalls for fee to be added to rental booking. Washing of any horse items in the washing machine is prohibited. Occupancy is limited to registered guests -no overnight guests or subletting. No animals in the cabin at any time-this includes those pets of visiting friends. No smoking/vaping inside the cabin. Smoking is allowed outside-please dispose of cigarettes in the provided cups- do not throw on the ground or in the woods. No dogs or any other type of pet besides horses.Please do not flush anything but toilet paper in the toilet. Renter is responsible for any expenses incurred for violations of cabin rules resulting in damages by themselves, their guests or their horses to the cabin, cabin property, cabin barn or within the resort.
