Marrington Lodge - Marrington Escapes

Imagine yourself driving through the ancient stone pillars at the entrance of the Marrington Estate and taking a break at the original gate house lodge. Situated just off the road to nearby Chirbury village with its 12th century church, post office shop and bakery, The Lodge is a cosy and welcoming space for six, offering comfort, style and expansive views. The space The house is the latest addition to our collection and offers a fully fitted kitchen from where you can watch sheep grazing in the neighbouring fields, before gathering around the oak table in the separate dining room. The elegantly decorated lounge has a log burner and French windows leading out to the large lawned garden to the rear. Downstairs, there’s also a shower room and separate utility with laundry facilities and there’s also a games room for some after dinner entertainment. The staircase leads to a cosy seating area to relax, read or enjoy views across the Shropshire landscape. Surrounding the family bathroom, there are three well-appointed and good-sized bedrooms. One features a king-size bed, one a double and the third a zip and link, making a super-king or twin beds. Outside you will find a large and secure private garden, perfect for you and any furry friends to enjoy. There is a hot tub with a view, along with a firepit for some outdoor feasting. There is ample parking for three cars to the front of the property. Other things to note We love and welcome dogs in our properties. We charge a standard fee of £50 (+VAT) per stay applies for up to 2 dogs. Each additional dog incurs a £25 (+VAT) charge which is added after your booking has been made. Please add the number of dogs to your booking. There is a maximum of 3 dogs unless otherwise agreed.
