'Yellow' apartment

Enjoy a comfortable stay in this beautifully appointed apartment located right in the heart of Charlbury old town. It has been newly refurbished, and offers a perfect blend of modern interior set in a prime Cotswold location. You are just a stone's throw from two exceptional pubs, The Bull and the Bell, and you have a good choice of places to eat, including the exciting new Amarelo Bistro on the ground floor. From this home base you can enjoy easy access to Blenheim, Oxford, Burford, Stow etc. Guest access Guests will have the whole apartment to themselves. Entry to the property is via smart lock, with instructions provided prior to check-in. Your hosts will be close by and on hand should you need anything. Off-road parking is available for 1 large car in our secure courtyard. Please note: occasionally, some of the driveway space may be used by the café-bistro below to provide extra seating, particularly in peak summer. We hope this will have minimal impact. Other things to note Entry to the property is via smart lock. Please note: a bistro is situated on the ground floor, which is owned by your hosts. This serves delicious meals and drinks Thursday to Sunday, and Fri and Saturday evenings so we hope you will give it a try. Please be aware that background noise during opening hours is possible. For your information, there are security cameras on the outside of the building. On the front of the building there's a blue plaque in honour of Larcum Kendall, a famous watch and clockmaker who lived on the site and learned his trade in Charlbury. He made the H4 chronometer to aid longitudinal navigation that was taken by Captain Cook on his last exploration to the South Pacific. PARKING: We are usually able to provide off-street parking for our apartments in a secure courtyard driveway. Very occasionally, this space is needed for the downstairs bistro, so is not guaranteed. Please note, the local authority recently introduced a residents' parking scheme for central Charlbury, pushing those without a parking permit or a private driveway to park further away from the centre. Finding space to park can be difficult, particularly on weekends.
