Sleep in a 14th-century tower

The thrill of staying in a newly restored 14th-century tower. You will be accommodated on the third floor with windows overlooking the valley and the red roofs of the fortified village of Gargonza. The thrill of living in history and imagining life in the fortified village in the Middle Ages when it was disputed between Siena and Arezzo, where Dante Alighieri found refuge in 1304. Prudent restorations have given us a restored village with its Tower finally ready to welcome you. The space The Tower is accessed from the stone ramp located in the center of the village square. The room is on the second floor with access via steep wooden stairs. Four floors separate the entrance to the Tower from the terrace. The restored stairs (73 steps) will take you to admire one of the most beautiful landscapes in Tuscany. The room is located on the third floor with 4 not too large windows overlooking the valleys. A small bathroom with a shower and a window overlooking the rooftops of Gargonza. Guest access Guests booking a night in the Tower room will be the only ones to enjoy it and will have exclusive access to the small living room on the first floor, the room located on the second floor, and the terrace located on top of the Tower. Other things to note Staying in a Tower is very special. Access to the third floor with narrow wooden stairs requires some adaptation. The bathroom is not small even if it is inside the room. The stay is scheduled with check-in at 3:00 p.m. and check-out the next day at 12:00 p.m. Breakfast is served in the Salone del Frantoio inside the village or can be requested in the kitchenette of the Tower for the exclusive use of guests.
