Private cottage in the woods

Maple Cottage - a safe place for everyone - bright, 700sf on 36 hilly, wooded acres in the Green Mountains. Winter lake and mountain views from the great room. In summer, you are nestled in the trees, but a nearby deck provides amazing lake views. Fully-equipped kitchen, fast wifi (113mbps down, 10mbps up), Smart TV, Echo dot. Mini split for heat and air conditioning. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds, drawers, hangers. One bedroom = queen with firm mattress and 3" goosedown topper and new cotton linens with two king goosedown duvets, the other = two twins with the same. Queen bedroom has an electric fireplace/heat. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bath sheets, bath towels, beach towels. Shower only. Private washer + dryer. Air conditioned. Private outdoor BBQ deck with dining table for 4, a fire pit area, a sunning deck with 2 chaise lounges plus a separate deck with the best sunset view on the property. Guest access This space is all yours in a completely private building. We are in the other building on the property if you need us, but you don't have to see us if you don't want to. For families, we like to know the age of the children so we can leave small gifts. For groups of friends, we need the names and contact information for each person or you can add them to the reservation. Each member of your party should read the Airguide and the house rules. Other things to note Everything is cleaned between guests - bed linens (including pillow protectors and mattress pads), throw pillow covers, quilts, throws, inside the drawers, the coffee maker, kettle, inside and fronts of cupboards, windows, couch, soap dispensers, containers, switches, doorknobs, doors, walls, ceilings, baseboards. Pets are allowed. No extra fee. Any size dog is welcome. Dogs must be fully trained and out of the puppy, chewing stage. Long leash, dog towels, dog bowls are provided. No fenced yard. Please bathe your dog before you come. If your dog eliminates on the carpets and they have to be steam cleaned, an extra charge will apply. Dogs are welcome almost everywhere in Vermont. Please don't bring your dog if you plan to leave him/her alone all day. Dog sitting or checking is usually available (no extra charge). Driveway is long and unpaved. Four-wheel drive and snow tires are necessary in winter. We must have names of all the guests (unless children) before arrival. We must have an emergency contact not attending (you can leave a number in the cottage - just in case). Each adult member of your family or group should read the Airguide and the house rules.
