Placed in the beautiful Skirve valley in Tinn municipality in Telemark you will find this attractive Ål design cabin available for rent. With good light conditions and horizontal windows you can enjoy the majestetic view of the famous Gaustatoppen mountain. With inviting architecture the time at the cabin is as enjoyable as the nature surrounding it. This valley is located along a south-eastern ridge of the Hardanger plateu and great mountain experiences are waiting just outside the cabin door. The space Our cabin consists of a main building and an annex. With its Japanese inspired architecture it is spacious for both groups and intimate enough for a romantic weekend for two in the mountains. The main cabin consists of 3 bedrooms, loft and day bed, kitchen, separate WC-room, bathroom and sauna. The annex consists of 2 bedrooms + extra loft bed in the living room. There is duvets and pillows for all beds, but linen and towels must be brought with you. Please contact us if you need this included with your stay at a small extra fee (125,- NOK per person.) The cabin is available for 8 guests for maximum comfort. (If you are more than 8 guests please write to us.) The cabin has electrical power, wifi, hot and cold water. The bathroom has a shower cabinet and sauna. Toilet/WC is found in a separate room. Kitchen with cook ware, plates, cutlery and stove cook top, oven, coffee maker, coffee grinder and dishwasher. The cabin is designed by the famous Norwegian architects Haug, Lund and Slatto and the main cabin has central heating in all floors + a very effective fire place. Natural passive ventilation with plenty of air shafts. We have made our own website with extra information, tips for hikes and ski trips in the area and the link is shared on booking. Guest access The whole cabin and annex is included with your stay. Other things to note In our cabin we let guests have the final clean-out after their stay. (There is dish washer, vacuum cleaner and detergents available.) We have an easy step-by-step check-out list. Please contact us if you need final cleaning included which will be no problem to arrange. Pets are welcome, but there’s no dog bed at the cabin and must be brought with you. We underline that smoking is strictly prohibited indoors at the cabin. Firewood for the fireplace in livingroom is now included for a cozy experience both winter and summer.
