Why do you charge extra for the Barrel Cedar Sauna Experience? That's an excellent question! Thorough cleaning and sanitization are essential both before and after a Sauna Experience, which demands considerable time and care. We aim to maintain affordable and fair room/night rates. As not all guests choose to use the sauna, we find it fair to impose a modest booking fee for those who do. This charge, which helps maintain the sauna for your use, is far more economical than fees charged by commercial steam sauna facilities, especially considering that ours is in a far more tranquil environment! Our kitchenette is equipped with a bench top oven/stove, toaster, kettle, large fridge, and all the essentials for cooking. There is also a microwave & a Nespresso coffee machine! Guests can make use of our BBQ facilities. Our drinking water comes from rainwater stored in a 90,000 litre tank, which is triple filtered, including a UV filter, ensuring it is safe and refreshing to drink. Your toilet is connected to a septic system, allowing only toilet paper and human waste. No chemicals, anti-septic, wipes, sanitary products to be placed in the toilet. This property is completely OFF-GRID, so we kindly request that you conserve energy by switching off the air conditioners whenever you are not on the premises and turning off the infrared heater in the shower when it is not needed. Cooling a room takes just 5 minutes, but recharging the batteries requires significantly more time. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available, capable of supporting multiple devices streaming HD videos simultaneously. Enjoy wireless Bluetooth/AUX speakers for your audio needs. Mobile phone service is limited to one area in the studio, encouraging guests to disconnect and unwind.
