Alpine Retreat, a beautifully designed mountain getaway, is located in Seven Devils—perfectly positioned between Boone and Banner Elk for effortless access to High Country adventures. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplining is just three miles away, and the scenic Otter Falls Trail is a quick five-minute drive. Seven Devils Town Park offers basketball, tennis, pickleball, and a playground, while the shops, restaurants, and attractions of Banner Elk—including The Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster—are fifteen minutes from the home. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Golf Course are also nearby, and Boone’s restaurants, breweries, shopping, and Appalachian State University are an easy drive up the mountain. Main Level Living Alpine Retreat features an inviting open floor plan with vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling stacked stone gas fireplace. Plush sofas and leather chairs provide the perfect spot to unwind after a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring. The spacious kitchen offers granite countertops, bar seating, stainless steel appliances, and ample cabinetry. Enjoy meals together in the dining area or step outside onto the back deck for outdoor living at its best—complete with a large dining table, gas grill, and a cozy seating area for morning coffee or evening conversation. A stone pathway below the home leads to the custom-built fire pit, where Adirondack chairs and starry skies create the perfect setting for S’mores. The covered front porch offers an additional peaceful spot to enjoy the mountain breeze. Newly Renovated Lower Level Game Room The fully renovated lower level is now a standout highlight of Alpine Retreat. Designed for hours of fun and relaxation, this expansive space features: Full-size pool table Arcade games Mini kitchen with a full refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher—ideal for snacks and drinks High-top table for hanging out between games TV area with a large leather sofa for movie nights or big games This level also includes brand-new sleeping accommodations, making the home ideal for larger groups and families: Second master suite with a king bed and private ensuite bathroom Bunk room with two queen-over-queen bunk beds, featuring Jack-and-Jill access to a full bathroom Main Level Bedrooms Hardwood floors flow through the main level bedrooms. The primary master suite includes a king bed, Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with step-in shower and double vanities. A second king bedroom and a queen bedroom, each with a Smart TV, share a hallway bathroom. With the new lower-level bedrooms, Alpine Retreat now comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests. Additional Amenities Guests will enjoy high-speed WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, and a full-size washer and dryer. Parking is easy with a level gravel area for up to three vehicles, and access is via paved roads. An exterior security camera is in place for added peace of mind. Please note that pets are not permitted. Guest access You will have private access to the entire home. You will be provided with a unique guest access code that will be good for the course of your stay. Codes are unique to each guest and will activate at check-in time on your day of arrival.
