Welcome to Lodge Baliveau, part of Parenthèse en Forêt, a cozy, renovated cottage in the heart of Sidobre (Tarn), between the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, the Montagne Noire and the Monts de Lacaune. Come and spend a weekend or a few days here. Terrace with brazier, living room with wood-burning stove (wood provided) Ideal for 2 couples (2 bedrooms). WiFi. Covered parking + EV terminal. The space Baliveau is a carefully renovated accommodation with character, designed to be simple, comfortable and warm, particularly suitable for 2 couples, thanks to its 2 real separate bedrooms. Sleeping accommodations (up to 4 guests maximum, including an infant): 1 bedroom with 160×200 bed 1 bedroom with 140×190 bed The beds are made upon arrival and linens are provided. End-of-stay cleaning is included. Living room: - Cozy living room - dining area - fully equipped kitchen - wood-burning stove for cocooning stays (main heating, wood included) Deck & outside: You can enjoy a private terrace (not enclosed) with: - Outdoor dining table - BBQ - brazier (new) Working remotely & network: The cottage is equipped with WiFi (fast and stable via fiber optics). 4G can be weak: it's also what makes it easy to disconnect here... while keeping a reliable connection in the accommodation. Kitchen & Amenities: The kitchen is equipped for easy cooking: oven, induction stovetop, fridge-freezer, Italian coffee maker, kettle, dishes, utensils... The basics of everyday life are provided to start your stay serenely. To stay true to the spirit of the place, there is no microwave and no coffee maker with pods. Here you can take the time to cook, and enjoy the time otherwise. Please note that there is no TV: we wanted to maintain the “forest retreat” vibe. Instead, you'll find books, board games… and even boots to enjoy nature, even when it rains (long live puddles!). It is an ideal base from which to explore the Tarn nature, hike, or simply enjoy a stay in the countryside. Otherwise, for safety (and for other animals), a leash is essential. The property is not fenced, so your pet must remain under your supervision. Please note that there are animals on site (dog, free-range cats as well as our goats and chickens in an enclosure). Other things to note * The Baliveau lodge is equipped with fiber WiFi, but the 4G network is poor for all carriers. * The place is not suitable for people in wheelchairs - there are stairs and the bedrooms are upstairs.
