Welcome to the Baliveau lodge, at Parenthèse en Forêt, warm and renovated cottage, in the heart of Sidobre (Tarn), between the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, Montagne Noire and the Monts de Lacaune, come and spend a weekend or a few days. Terrace with fire pit. Ideal for 2 couples (2 bedrooms). WiFi. Covered parking + EV terminal. The space Baliveau is a carefully renovated accommodation with character, designed to be simple, comfortable and warm, and particularly suitable for 2 couples, thanks to its 2 real separate bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements (up to 4 guests max, including a baby): 1 bedroom with a 160×200 bed 1 bedroom with a 140×190 bed The beds are made on arrival and bed linen is provided. Living room: - cosy living room - dining area - equipped kitchen - wood-burning stove for cosy stays (main heating, wood included) Terrace & outside: You can enjoy a private terrace (not enclosed) with: - outdoor table for meals - barbecue - brazier (new) Remote working & network: The cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi (fast and stable via fibre). The 4G can be weak: this is also what makes it easy to disconnect here… while maintaining a reliable connection in the accommodation. Kitchen & equipment: The kitchen is equipped for easy cooking: oven, induction hobs, fridge-freezer, Italian coffee maker, kettle, dishes, utensils, etc. The everyday essentials are provided so you can start your stay with peace of mind. To stay true to the spirit of the place, there is no microwave and no pod coffee machine. Here you can take the time to cook and enjoy your time in a different way. Please note that there is no television: we wanted to keep the "break in the forest" spirit. Instead, you'll find books, board games... and even boots to enjoy nature, even when it's raining (hurray for puddles!). Nature & surroundings: Parenthèse en forêt is in the heart of a spectacular area: forests, the rocks of the Sidobre, trails, clean air... It's an ideal starting point for exploring the natural beauty of the Tarn, for hiking, or simply for enjoying a stay in the countryside. Here, we make your life easier and for a carefree stay, we provide a complete baby kit free of charge, on request: - Travel cot + mattress - High chair - Baby bouncer - Folding pushchair - Baby bath - Changing mat + towel - Safety gate - Booster seat - Bottle warmer - Night light - Baby carrier for hiking - Various useful small accessories Pets (please read carefully): * Your pet is welcome (maximum 1 pet per accommodation). * We provide a basket, bowls, towels and a blanket. * It must be clean and non-destructive, * It must not be left alone in the accommodation * Your pet can only be allowed to roam freely in the hamlet if it responds very well to the recall command. Otherwise, for safety reasons (and for the other animals), a lead is essential. The grounds are not enclosed, so your pet must remain under your supervision. Please note: We have renovated the Baliveau lodge with care. Beware of the presence of animals on site (dog, cats at large as well as our goats and chickens in an enclosure). Other things to note * The Baliveau lodge is equipped with fibre Wi-Fi, but the 4G network is poor with all operators. * The place is not suitable for people in wheelchairs - there are stairs and the bedrooms are upstairs.
