Welcome to the Baliveau lodge, at Parenthèse en Forêt, a warm and renovated cottage, in the heart of the Sidobre (Tarn), between the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, the Montagne Noire and the Monts de Lacaune, come and spend a weekend or a few days. The space Baliveau is a carefully renovated character cottage, designed to be simple, comfortable and warm. 🛏 Sleeps (up to 4 guests maximum, including baby): 1 bedroom with 160×200 bed 1 bedroom with 140 × 190 bed Beds are made on arrival and linens are provided. 👉 The cottage is particularly suitable for 2 couples, thanks to its 2 real separate bedrooms. 🏡 Living room: - Cozy living room - dining area - fully equipped kitchen - wood-burning stove for cocooning stays (main heating, wood included) ⛱ Terrace & outdoor: You can enjoy a private terrace with: - Outdoor dining table - BBQ - brazier (new) 💻 Remote work & network: The cottage is equipped with WiFi (fast and stable via fiber optics). 4G can be weak: it's also what makes it easy to disconnect here... while keeping a reliable connection in the accommodation. 🍽 Kitchen & Amenities: The kitchen is equipped for easy cooking: oven, stove, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, utensils... The basics of everyday life are provided to start your stay serenely. To stay true to the spirit of the place, there is no microwave and no coffee maker with pods. Here you can take the time to cook, and enjoy the time otherwise. ⚠️ There is no television: we wanted to keep the “forest break” spirit. It is an ideal base from which to explore the Tarn nature, hike, or simply enjoy a stay in the countryside. 🌿 Values & spirit of the place: Parenthèse en Forêt is also a committed place: * sanitation by phyto-purification * energy production via photovoltaic panels * EV charging station on site to facilitate green stays * On-site waste sorting and composting * mostly organic and local products 🐾 Animals (please read carefully): * Your pet is welcome (maximum 1 pet per accommodation). * We provide a basket, bowls, towels and a blanket. * It must be clean and non-destructive, * Must not be left alone in the accommodation * In the hamlet, your pet can be free only if it responds very well to the recall. Otherwise, for safety (and for other animals), a leash is essential. ⚠️ Unfenced property, your pet must remain under your supervision. 🚗 Parking & electric vehicle: - 2 parking spaces in our covered parking lot on site - EV charging station available (let us know when booking) 👉 Things to know: We have carefully renovated the Baliveau lodge. Please note that there are animals on site (dog, free-range cats as well as our goats and chickens in an enclosure). Other things to note * The Baliveau lodge is equipped with wifi but the 4G network is bad for all operators. * The place is not suitable for people in wheelchairs - there are stairs and the bedrooms are upstairs.
