With a comfortable living room, family room with fireplace & 65" TV, kid's playroom and dedicated remote work area, we offer something for everyone. Enjoy dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or grill & eat on the deck. Pets have room to run in the fenced in yard. Kids will love the backyard playset and nearby playground/splashpad. The space Our home is designed for comfort, practicality and fun. Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by serene living room - a comfortable space to relax after a day of activities, or to read or talk after dinner. The updated kitchen offers abundant counter and storage space and all the conveniences and amenities needed to prepare meals. The adjacent dining area provides plenty of space for family gatherings with seating for 6 or more. The kitchen also has an Echo Pop smart speaker for radio/music streaming or bluetooth connection. Upstairs, two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and the third features two twins - a daybed with trundle. All bedrooms have closets, comfortable bedding, extra pillows and blankets and room darkening curtains . The main bedroom also has a 55" smart TV. The upstairs bath features a deep soaking tub with shower, and an additional 3/4 bath near family room has a shower. The family room on lower level offers entertainment for teens and adults, with a fireplace, 65" smart TV and game table with comfortable chairs and abundance of games. The lowest level is dedicated to the little kids, with toys, books, music, and a movie corner with a small TV/VCR and plenty of kid movies to choose from! In warmer weather, adults and teens will appreciate relaxing on the sizable deck, while younger kids will love the playset and climbing wall and pets can run freely in the very large, fully fenced backyard. The home is located a block from a popular park with walking trails, playground, splashpad and other attractions, and two blocks from Shepard Farm, part of Dodge Nature Center which is free and open to the public every day. It is also centrally located near many restaurants and stores, and only a 20 minute drive to/from the airport, Mall of America, St. Paul and Minneapolis downtowns and the charming river cities of Hastings, MN and Prescott, Wisconsin. Afton State Park and Afton Alps ski resort are less than 10 miles away. Whether you're traveling to Cottage Grove to visit relatives, attend a wedding or other event or just looking for a change of scenery, our home has something for everyone. We hope you'll consider us for your stay! Guest access The house is exclusively yours, without interruption during your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. The only part of the property that is off-limits to guests is the utility room located next to the play room. Dogs with a history of biting are also not allowed on the property.
