Your whole family will enjoy your stay at our private, cozy log cabin in the Mountain Lakes District of Haverhill, NH. Enjoy all the White Mtns have to offer - hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, shopping, attractions. 35 mins from Loon Ski Resort and Cannon Mountain Ski Area, < 30 mins from Littleton, Lincoln, and Woodstock. <1 mile walk or drive to resident-only lakeside community with playground, beach, swimming pool (seasonal), tennis courts, trails and ATV/snowmobile trails. The space The main room is open concept with a vaulted ceiling offering ample seating and wood stove. The kitchen is fully-equipped with electric range, drip coffee machine, Keurig brewer, and everything you need to cook a delicious homemade meal. There's a queen-sized bed in our cozy loft (accessible via stairs) and a full-sized bed in the first-floor guest room. Kids of any age (or adults young at heart) will love the additional first-floor bedroom featuring a lofted bunk and crib for the littles. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower and a washer/dryer in the basement. Spacious, recently-refinished basement with TV loaded with all the smart apps, pool table, and books/toys for younger children. Large eat-in, screened-in porch and additional large side deck with grill and outdoor dining table/chairs. A brand new ductless mini split system in the main room and basement offers heating and cooling to stay comfortable throughout the year. Spend your time within the Mountain Lakes community with playground, beach, swimming pool, tennis, pickleball court, basketball court, baseball field, trails, and snowmobile trails. Enjoy quiet, secluded time at the cabin any time of year with firepit, gas firepit on the deck, comfortable finished basement, and cozy wood stove. Property has everything you might need for kids including swim noodles/boogie boards, crib, high chair, books, toys, and baby gate. We've also taken care to ensure that the space is comfortable for an adults-only getaway (see photos). Venture nearby to the White Mountains' iconic small towns of Littleton, Lincoln, or Woodstock, or check AllTrails for a wide range of hike options in the area, ranging from the family-friendly Lost River to 4000-footers and Franconia Notch for more experienced hikers. In winter months, venture 35 minutes west to Loon Mountain and Cannon Mountain ski resorts. High-speed internet available throughout the house and outside to allow for streaming multiple devices, staying connected, or working remotely. Guest access Guests have access to the entire interior and exterior of the property (except shed), as well as to all of the resident-only amenities of Mountain Lakes. Other things to note -Crib space is NOT included in # of guests; space includes bed space for 5 plus a crib. Additional guests negotiable for an added fee. -No pets, however, the owners do have two cats who occasionally are there. If you have a severe cat allergy, this cabin is likely not for you. -Cabin is located at the top of a moderately-steep driveway; 4WD or snow tires strongly recommended in winter months. -Unauthorized overnight guests will be charged $200 per person.
