Mae Mae's Cottage - An escape to country living!

Escape to country living! Relax in this quiet, calm and romantic space that is full of gorgeous antique charm. We are about 10 miles from Columbus, 3 miles from I-10 access, 15 miles from Eagle Lake and 30 miles from Round Top and La Grange. Our cozy cottage is one level and has a wheelchair accessible grand room, master bedroom and master bath with a roll-in shower. Also, enjoy the accessible back porch and patio that is perfect for those beautiful Texas sunrises and sunsets. Pets allowed. The space Mae Mae's Cottage sits high on a knoll of approximately 10 acres. Adjoining the property is a 200 acre cattle ranch. Quiet is an understatement unless you happen to hear cattle bellowing in the background, birds singing and maybe a few coyotes at night. Because we are a working cattle ranch, we have farm and ranch implements close along with a barn across from the front yard. We have a long private drive secured by gate code access that leads up to the main house, the cottage and our ranch foreman's house. Guest access Guests will be given a gate access code and a code for door entry at the house. Door codes are all the same for front door, patio, doors leading to the garage interior and the garage door itself. Other things to note With country living comes the chance of encountering spiders, mosquitoes, and snakes in the grass. The perimeter of the property is fenced but the yard is open. You are encouraged to keep your pets on a leash at all times. We do have two giant Schnoodles who are going to be more than happy to great you.
