Epic Acres

Our beautiful forested property is 6.4 acres in size. The three private 21-foot yurts offer a unique escape with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. Two of the yurts are bedroom suites and the third, middle yurt, has a fully equipped kitchen and living/dining area. Enjoy the outdoor living room and fire pit under starry skies. Explore nearby lakes and hiking trails right from your doorstep. We are 2.5 hours from North Vancouver and 1 hour north from Whistler. See you soon! The space Escape to our secluded off-grid sanctuary. Three beautiful, fully furnished, 21 foot yurts await. The yurts are connected by a spacious wooden deck. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the center yurt and a covered outdoor kitchen with BBQ and flat top as well. Our shared bathhouse ensures modern comfort with a full bath/shower, toilet and sink. This space will only be shared with the owners if they are on site otherwise will be completely private for you and your group. An outdoor living room and fire pit area are a perfect space for family and friends to connect and relax comfortably. Chopped firewood can be purchased on site for $30 a wheelbarrow load. Firewood can also be collected from the forest floor. A propane fire pit is available for rental. 20lb tanks of propane are $50 and will last approximately 8 hours. Nearby trails allow for motor sports, mountain biking or leisurely strolls. Enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking adventures just 5 minutes away at Anderson or 25 minutes to Birkenhead Lake. Complementary wifi is available. Our signal isn’t the best for streaming but good for emails, surfing the web and wifi calling. Guest access Guests will have full private access to all three yurts, outdoor kitchen and fire pit area. The bath house, with toilet, sink and full size tub/shower will only be shared with the owners if they are on site. There is a private half bathroom in the master yurt for guests only. We have a tree fort, swings and outdoor toys for your children to enjoy. There is a 19 hole disc golf course on the property as well. Other things to note There is no cell reception or any stores north of Mt Currie which is 25 minutes away. Once you’ve arrived, enable “WiFi Calling” on your phone to be able to make and receive phone calls. Make sure to bring all your supplies with you. There are basic spices and olive oil for you to use in the kitchen. Enter our street address into your GPS before leaving Mt Currie towards Darcy… 9866 Pemberton Portage Rd Turn right over the red single lane bridge when you reach the “pin”. Drive straight for 700m and you will see two wine barrels on your right hand side. On the right hand barrel, you will notice a sign made out of Mexican license plates saying “Lot 4”. You will see the yurts set back 300ft amongst the trees as you turn in to the driveway. We are off grid running on solar power and a backup generator if there is not enough sunshine to keep up with power consumption. The water is beautifully clean, crisp and safe to drink.
