The Studio_Whaingaroa

Our Studio is a simple, comfortable space created for family, friends and guests to relax when visiting Raglan (Whaingaroa). Ideal for those needing a central spot when visiting Raglan for events/weddings, quick surf trips or a weekend away to explore all Raglan has to offer. The space is part of our newly built family home in the Rangitahi subdivision and is fully private from our upstairs living. Learn more about our space @thestudio_whaingaroa The space We are a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to Raglan township and we are spoilt for morning coffee spots with two within a 10 minute walk from the house. The Studio set up is private from our main living area and is located on the bottom level of our two storey home. We are a young family so you will hear us upstairs but we do our best to keep noise to a minimum during your stay. You will have access to a small fridge/freezer, toaster, jug & tea/coffee making facilities (tea and Raglan Roast coffee provided), however the space isn't set up for cooking meals. Make the most of all the delicious eateries in Raglan and bring some takeaway home to enjoy while watching the sunset over Karioi. The bed is a comfortable queen sized bed with quality linen bedding and pillows. The accompanying lounge space is set up to either soak up the afternoon sun while looking at Karioi or sit around the coffee table enjoying a game of cards or backgammon. During your stay you can explore all the Rangitahi Peninsula has to offer - beautiful bush track walks, ample swim spots for a quick wake up or cool off swim in Summer, frisbee golf, tennis and half basketball court. Guest access You will have your own park and private access within the property. There is ample carparking on the road if you find yourself with two vehicles. A key will be available on arrival and if you are arriving late, we will ensure the lights are on for you. Other things to note We don't have a TV permanently set up in the room, however there is one available if you'd like it set up for your stay. The TV has Chromecast available for you to stream from your phone. Wifi available. If you are travelling with a little one, we have a portacot available for use, however we aren't set up for children over the age of two needing proper beds yet. Our dog Chip is fully contained and fenced in upstairs. If you are travelling and missing some doggo interaction, he would love to meet you anytime though. A heater will be provided if it's looking like cooler weather. All linen & towels provided. We encourage recycling and separation of food waste from the rubbish bin. We are lucky to have an amazing food waste programme here in Raglan. Loud music and parties are not tolerated. Please respect the neighbourhood and our family upstairs.
