The cabin has 3 spacious bedrooms with 2 double beds and a family bunk bed. There is 1 large bathroom with washing machine/dryer. There is an open kitchen-living room solution. In the kitchen there are all the utensils you may need for cooking and with service for 12 people. There is a dining table for 8 people etc., large sofa, 2 armchairs, fireplace and TV. In addition, there is a large hallway so that clothes and shoes do not get in the way. This new cabin is deliberately made so that everything is on one level, i.e. adapted for everyone! The space Gjerstad has a fantastic hiking area, for adults and children, both in summer and winter. The area has an incredibly great terrain for skiers, hikers, mountain biking and running. The cabin is located almost right next to the popular illuminated ski trails at Kleivvann-Drivheia (1 min by car). Kleivann is best known for perhaps the finest ski slopes in all of Norway. Here there are 11 insanely great ski slopes with varying lengths and inclines. There is a brand new biathlon facility with self-instructors, illuminated ski slope and everything. Both summer and winter. The trails are therefore suitable for both children and more experienced skiers! More information about the slopes can be found at skisporet.no The local Gjerstadbakeren with super good baked goods is open every Friday from 11:00-17:00. The bakery is located at Trydalsveien 40, 4980 Gjerstad. Worth taking the trip here! The popular Jettegrytene in Nissedal is about 1 hour drive from the cabin. The small zoo located on Brokelandsheia with Norway's largest rainforest is about 18 minutes drive away. Here you will find both the Little Zoo, Pharmacy, Europris, thrift store, fitness center, liquor store, charging stations and not least the popular meat counter at Eurospar! The cabin is about 15 min from E18, the exit is just by Brokelandsheia. Other things to note In all rooms there is underfloor heating, power outlets, dimming options on the lights, as well as blinds.
