Literally, a stone’s throw away from Sampalok Lake, 20 steps to be exact, you’ll breathe a sigh of relief from the stress of daily life as fresh cool breeze blankets your face and skin as nature grounds you and rebalances your spirit. The space Room 1, King size bed and asingle pull out bed, fits 3. Inspired by high end living in San Francisco, with an open concept modern classic design, the eyes take you to the view of the lake. The corner window with its glass tempered ceiling roof acts as a skylight, perfect on clear starry nights. In addition, a huge glass window opens to the view of the lake and garden. As for the cherry on top, the sliding door facing the lake peaks through the thick branches of a piko mango tree to showcase the mountainous horizon, the glistening lake, the bamboo fish pens and its inhabitants and nature’s wonders. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Room 2, King size bed, and a single pull out mattress, fits 3. Inspired by several trips to Thailand, an open concept design that leads the eyes to the lake. It’s a simple, non-cluttered, functional, and peaceful environment to cleanse the mind. Between 5-6AM, the lake reflections dance on the walls of room 2 creating a calm, hypnotic and meditative atmosphere, a good start for the day. You’ll feel like the lake is part of you. Enjoy more of nature while you sip your coffee or tea. Hear the birds chirping, observe them glide just above the water’s surface, stare at them perch on a tree while you people watch joggers and walkers do their 3.7 kilometer stride around the lake. The simplicity of life is palpable. Room 3, queen size bed and a pull out couch. Fits 4. inspired by trips to Japan, the minimalist concept is prevalent in our design. The bed frame is light pine low on the floor but located on the mezzanine level. It is not advisable for the elderly, children, and drunks who need railings as the stairs have no railings. The stairs leading to the mezzanine is made of concrete and steel so utmost care must be taken when going up and down. It is designed for non-rowdy adults who like a little change sometimes. The kicker in this room is its deep cement onzen like bathtub. Again, this room and bathtub are not advisable for the elderly, children, and drunks. It is cozy and functional with access to the large communal living room area where one could view Sampalok Lake and its glory.
