Our atmospheric home is located in the tranquility of nature near Luosto. From the cottage window there are views towards the Luosto mountain range and from the yard an excellent opportunity to admire the northern lights as well as the winter starry sky and the Milky Way. In the Kurrentuva cabin, time stops and peace takes over the mind - a great base for all winter sports and a real Christmas atmosphere! The space The atmospheric cottage has two bedrooms with double beds, as well as a large kitchen and living room. Indoor pets are also welcome to stay in the cottage. For those who enjoy the outdoors, there is a 400-square-meter dog yard in the yard with two unheated dog kennels suitable for outdoor dogs. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, induction stove and basic groceries in the cabinets. The living room has a smart TV and coffee beans for indoor workouts. Towels and linen, laundry facilities and WiFi are also included in the rent. After a day of skiing, it's nice to relax in the sweet sauna. From the living room window you can watch the jays, squirrels, and tits that actively visit the backyard bird feeder. Guests have access to two pairs of OAC snow shoes, two pairs of regular snow shoes, and an electric fatbike, which can be found in the outdoor storage. During your visit, you should also visit the neighboring Jaakkola reindeer farm, where reindeer safaris of different lengths are organized. Guest access The entire apartment is available to guests, except for the smaller bedroom with bunk beds. We live in the cottage ourselves year-round and the middle bedroom serves as a storage room while the apartment is rented. Other things to note Renting the cabin does not include a significant obligation to do snow work, as the cabin has a functioning snow work contract.
